The Government Is Not God PAC has just endorsed John Kennedy for the U.S. Senate. He will replace David Vitter who is retiring this year.

Kennedy is currently serving his fifth term as State Treasurer, overseeing a $10.6 billion investment program. He previously served as Secretary of the Department of Revenue and special counsel to Governor Roemer.

Kennedy graduated magna cum laude in political science, philosophy and economics from Vanderbilt, was president of his senior class, and elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia and his B.C.L. degree from Oxford University in England where he was a First Class Honors graduate. John is an adjunct professor at LSU Law School and is a volunteer substitute teacher for East Baton Rouge Parish public schools.

John Kennedy has been endorsed by the National Right To Life Committee and the Louisiana Right To Life Committee, where he has a 100% pro-life rating.

Kennedy is also a firm believer in traditional marriage and has shown himself to be a solid social conservative.

Kennedy is in a run-off election on December 10th to determine who will become the next U.S. Senator from Louisiana. His election is vital because Sen. Jeff Sessions is leaving the Senate in January to become the Attorney General of the United States. The GOP has a razor-thin edge in the Senate – and several are known to support the Democrat agenda.
