Allen West Outraged By Proposed Military Budget Cuts

Former Congressman Allen West (R-FL) (and former combat officer), is outraged by the budget deal worked out by Congressman Paul Ryan and Senator Patty Murray.

The budget deal will betray military retirees by reducing their cost-of-living adjustments starting in 2015. The deal is designed to “save” $6 billion, but it will mean that military retirees will receive $80,000 less by age 62 for a soldier who retires at 40.
