There are 435 congressmen and all types of circumstances arise that cause them to leave office. So far there have been nine resignations in just seven months into the new two year term: two due to acceptance of private sector jobs, two due to political appointments, two due to a Senator’s death; one due to criminal prosecution/health issues; one due to acceptance of a university position and one due to a win in a special election. Five were Democrats and four were Republicans

GING-PAC exhibit at Values Voters Summit

We lost a key GOP primary election in South Carolina recently. Voters in the GOP primary chose Mark Sanford, a confessed adulterer, over a strong social conservative in the 1st Congressional District. GING-PAC had supported two social conservatives in that race, but South Carolinian Republicans apparently figured a man who was unfaithful to his wife would be a good choice to run against liberal Elizabeth Colbert Busch in the special election in June. The South Carolina GOP has just handed over the 1st Congressional District to a leftist. It had been firmly in the hands of conservatives for years.

GING-PAC helped elect socially conservative Senators Cruz (R-TX) and Deb Fischer (R-NE). Please note that not a single economic conservative candidate backed by Karl Rove’s PAC won. Every candidate Rove backed that ran away from social issues lost.

Another newspaper ad campaign has been launched by GING-PAC against Barack Obama – showing that he is the “Apologizer-in-Chief” for America’s greatness.

With only days left before the November elections, we urgently need your assistance to place these ads strategically around the nation!

The ad copy describes how Obama and Hillary Clinton routinely apologize to radical Muslims for our nation’s heritage of free speech, our economic power and our military strength around the world. But, they never apologize to Christians for the offenses committed against them by Muslims around the world.

Several of our GING-PAC endorsed candidates spoke at the Values Voter Summit this weekend in Washington, D.C. And, we had a booth there and got to meet hundreds of attendees.

Among those candidates or friends of GING-PAC who spoke were Senator Jim DeMint, Rep. Eric Cantor, Senate candidate Ted Cruz, Rep. Jim Jordan and Rep. Michele Bachmann, who gave a powerful speech on the dangers of radical Islam to our country.

We have a dedicated group of social conservatives running this year and we need your help to get them elected! The election of Ted Cruz to the Senate could help tip the scales for us and take control of the Senate away from the swarmy Harry Reid! this update contains more details on our candidates campaigns.

July, 2012 Campaign Update

Jul 26th, 2012 | By

GING-PAC has supported Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) since the very first time she ran for Congress. We have watched her become a stand out conservative leader, always speaking out for our values. But right now Michele is being literally blasted from all sides, not just from the ultra-liberals, but also from the Republican establishment, including House Speaker John Boehner and U.S. Senator John McCain, among others. All because she told the absolute truth! Michele BuchmannHer “crime” is that she rightfully accused Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) of having a “long record of being associated” with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Brotherhood.
