Congressman Paul Broun is running for the U.S. Senate.

Congressman Paul Broun, who has been endorsed by GING-PAC for his run for the U.S. Senate, is currently in third place in a recent poll of support for GOP candidates. The polling was conducted by Kelly Anne Conway for the conservative group Citizens United, which is supporting Broun, too.

Broun, who is a solid social conservative trails behind Congressman Phil Gingrey and former Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel, in a primary race that includes five candidates.

Gingrey stands at 19% among voters; Handel at 14% and Broun at 13%.

According to David Bossie with Citizens United, Broun is actually in a strong position to win the May primary:

“Dr. Paul Broun is in a solid position to win this important primary that will decide whether Georgians send a true conservative fighter to the United States Senate.

“The Washington establishment fears a Dr. Paul Broun candidacy, because he is not running to become a member of their club. I have full faith that Georgia voters will nominate the only candidate who will work with conservative Senator Ted Cruz to stand up for our shared conservative principles.”

We agree – and we urge GING-PAC supporters to help us in our efforts to elect principled conservatives like Congressman Paul Broun to the U.S. Senate in November. He must first win the May primary, however.
