Virginia Pastor Ryan McAdams is running for Congress in the 4th Congressional District of Virginia. We enthusiastically endorse his candidacy.

McAdams is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, earned a BS in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University, and earned a Masters of Divinity in 1997 at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts.

He currently serves as pastor of Agape Mission Church in Williamsburg and also serves as volunteer Virginia Prayer Caucus director for the Virginia state legislature.

McAdams is a committed social conservative who believes in the right to life of every person from birth until natural death; believes that marriage is a bond between one man and one woman; and believes that freedom of religion and free speech are God-given rights.

McAdams writes:

Every human life is precious and must be protected. I believe life begins at conception and that a mother does not have the right to take the life of her child. It is the duty of our government to protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, not to fund murder.  I will do everything in my power to end the tragedy of abortion and defund Planned Parenthood. Additionally, I support laws that will reduce the barriers to families who wish to adopt and encourage state and local programs that create positive alternatives to abortion.

His “Issues” section on his campaign site provides more details into his stands on social conservative issues, national security, gun rights, and more.
