More than a dozen GING-PAC endorsed Senators held a press conference yesterday to announce their request that Senate Majority Leader imposed a 7-day work week if needed, and cancel the August recess to get the work of the Senate done before the end of the year. Hundreds of confirmations are being held up by Democrats in the Senate. In addition, little is getting done on budget issues or other important legislative goals.
