WHAT THE PRESIDENTIAL CHALLENGERS BELIEVE – Over the years I have had the privilege to work on various projects with some of the current Republican candidates for President and I have met and talked to most of them more than once. Just before she announced her run for the presidency I was one of just eight conservative leaders who had lunch with Michele Bachmann at the Capitol Hill club in Washington, DC.

In this July edition of Campaign Update the candidacy of Jon Huntsman for president is examined in light of the support he seems to have in the “mainstream” media. His “gay friendly” governorship of Utah is also discussed. A gay UTAH newspaper has all but endorsed Huntsman stating he is LGBT friendly governor. GING-PAC chairman
William J Murray also discusses the endorsement of Congressman Todd Akin for Senate in Missouri and the presidential campaign of Michele Bachman with her surge in Iowa polls.

This June campaign update includes information on special elections in New York and California. In California 36 GING-PAC endorsed candidate Craig Huey ran second in a crowded field to win a runoff slot in what was a Democrat district. Up in New York a Democrat running on a fake Tea Party ticket acted as a spoiler allowing a Democrat to win a traditional Republican seat. Senate election updates as well in this issue include information on Ted Cruz in Texas, an up and coming star in the GOP who is 100% social conservative.

In 2006, the year the Republicans lost control of the House, I spotted a candidate in Ohio whom I believed would be a real leader, a man I viewed as a social conservative we could count on. That year GING PAC supported Jim Jordan in his first run for Congress. He won and took office
