In this July edition of Campaign Update the candidacy of Jon Huntsman for president is examined in light of the support he seems to have in the “mainstream” media. His “gay friendly” governorship of Utah is also discussed. A gay UTAH newspaper has all but endorsed Huntsman stating he is LGBT friendly governor. GING-PAC chairman
William J Murray also discusses the endorsement of Congressman Todd Akin for Senate in Missouri and the presidential campaign of Michele Bachman with her surge in Iowa polls.

In California 36 GING-PAC endorsed candidate Craig Huey ran second in a crowded field to win a runoff slot in what was a Democrat district. Up in New York a Democrat running on a fake Tea Party ticket acted as a spoiler allowing a Democrat to win a traditional Republican seat. Senate election updates as well in this issue include information on Ted Cruz in Texas, an up and coming star in the GOP who is 100% social conservative.
