The 115th Congress of the United States will be sworn in on January 4th, 2017. The next president of the United States will not be sworn in until January 20th, 2017. A scenario is now emerging where Judge Merrick Garland of the Federal Appeals Court, who is President Barack Obama’s pick for the Supreme Court vacancy caused by the death of Justice Anthony Scalia, could be confirmed even if Donald Trump were to win the presidential election.
GING-PAC is endorsing two new candidates for the House of Representatives. Both of them are social conservatives and will be welcome additions in Congress in January, 2017.
Among those GING-PAC endorsed legislators are: former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) who is running for the Senate, Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-TX), and more.

Hundreds of conservatives gathered this week at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland to hear legislators and policy experts discuss our future as a free, secure and prosperous nation. Many of the speakers have been endorsed in past elections by GINGPAC.
Taxpayer dollars would be much better spent at more comprehensive health care centers that do not profit off of abortion and trafficking in hearts, lungs, and livers. Money currently being granted to PPFA through the various funding streams should be stopped and made available instead to health centers that actually care about women and unborn children, and are able to provide more comprehensive health services for women.
There is a battle for our religious liberty here in the United States and in Western Europe as well. Western governments are moving forward to criminalize religious beliefs the elitist establishment disagrees with, and right now the point of the spear in attacking religious freedom is same-sex marriage. The Obama administration may be ready to have the IRS pass rules that would take away the tax-exempt status of social conservative organizations if they say certain types of sexual acts are morally wrong.
The summit featured such GING-PAC endorsed politicians as Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Tim Scott (R-SC), former Senators Rick Santorum (R-PA) and Jim DeMint (R-SC). The purpose of the event was to bring together key social conservatives, economic conservatives and national defense conservatives to discuss how to take back our nation from “progressives” who seem determined to destroy our country and our Judeo-Christian morality from within.
Several well-known GING-PAC endorsed lawmakers will be speaking this coming Saturday at the Iowa Freedom Summit in Des Moines. The event is being sponsored by GING-PAC Congressman Steve King and Citizens United.
