GING PAC is endorsing Tim Walberg in his bid to represent the 7th District in Michigan
Republican Tim Walberg was formerly the Congressman from Michigan’s 7th District, and while in office he was an able representative and a true activist for social conservative issues. Unfortunately, he was swept out of office with the same tide that brought in Barack Obama. Walberg’s replacement, Democrat Mark Schauer, has proved to be a rubber stamp for every spending program the radicals in power can put forward. Also, he has in the past expressed support for gay marriage, and has voted at the state level against a partial birth abortion ban.
The recession in Michigan has continued to deepen, and many voters seem to be having buyers’ remorse. Besides having served as a U.S. congressman, Tim’s experience includes ten years as a pastor and sixteen years as a Michigan state legislator. He is a reliable social and fiscal conservative, and we expect him to be a very strong candidate in the general election.
