Republican win three run-offs while two GING-PAC cadidates win. Meanwhile Muslims give a stern warning to Barack Obama on the eve of the inaguration.

CONSERVATIVES WIN THREE RUN-OFF ELECTIONS

            Conservative
Republicans won three out of three special elections after the Obama win in the
general election. One Senate seat in Georgia
and two House seats in Louisiana
went to Republicans. It was sorely needed good news when conservative
Republicans swept to victory in three elections including two run-offs held on
Saturday, December 6th.

            Congressman-elect
Cao won in Louisiana’s
2nd District, as voters rejected the corruption plagued Democrat incumbent,
William Jefferson, and replaced him with the nation’s first Vietnamese
representative to serve in Congress.
Republican Anh “Joseph” Cao arrived in the United
States
at the age of eight, fleeing Vietnamese communism
with his family after the fall of Saigon.  As might be expected, Cao is a firm believer
in American freedom and staunchly opposed to leftist ideology. He defeated
nine-term Congressman William Jefferson, who gained national fame when federal
authorities discovered a large amount of cash in his freezer, and accused him
of taking bribes from several U.S.
companies.  Jefferson
is now under indictment and awaiting trial.

            On that
same day, Republicans picked up a win in the Louisiana 6th District, with the victory of
Bill Cassidy, a medical doctor and a true conservative. He defeated Democrat
Don Cazayoux, who was the incumbent.
Cazayoux had won his short lived seat in Congress in a special election
in May of 2008 when he defeated a GING-PAC supported candidate. Now, I predict
that  Dr. Bill Cassidy will be a real
asset to the social conservative cause on Capitol Hill.

            Finally,
in a really big win for social conservatives, Senator Saxby Chambliss won
re-election by a comfortable margin in Georgia.  His win will deny Democrats a veto proof
majority and make it harder for leftists in the Senate to push through radical
social legislation. In the November election he did not get the 50% needed to
win without a run-off according to Georgia law. Gov. Sarah Palin came
to Georgia
to rally support for him, and even his opponent says her campaigning probably
changed the outcome.

WHAT ABOUT 2010 AND 2012?

            Gov.
Sarah Palin and Gov. Mike Huckabee are making a huge impact on the Republican
Party despite the efforts of the establishment “K Street” boys to derail them. In a
national survey Gov. Huckabee now leads as the favorite candidate for president
in 2012 among Republicans, with Sarah Palin right behind him. Huckabee has a
weekly TV show on the FoxNews Channel and is about to start twice daily
commentaries on the ABC radio network.

THE PRESIDENCY

            The
Muslims have a message for Barack Obama:
"You, Obama, are among those who have pledged before Allah –
Allah who created you, sustained you, and brought you to this position – to be
a Muslim who believes that Allah is the one God, especially since you have some
kind of roots in Islam. Convert to Islam, and you will be saved. All glory and
honor lie in following Allah and His messenger Mohammed. Know that the true
religion is the religion of Islam, and all other religions are fabricated
religions, which are null and void – religions that were abrogated by the
shari’a of Mohammed. …"

            The rest
of the message tells Obama there are those ready to fight to the death against
him if he doesn’t publicly convert to Islam. Barack Obama is getting his first
lesson in what real Islam is about even before he walks into the Oval Office
and sits down. Obama was raised in a communist home that was anti-American.

            Obama was
educated in a liberal private school in Hawaii
and then attended Harvard, a far left university. The world view he was taught
is that all “religions” are equal and that all concepts of God are equal. Like
other “religious” liberals, Obama calls Christianity “my heritage” rather than
“my faith.” He has no understanding that Islam is a socio-political system with
a goal of conquering the entire planet and enslaving those who do not believe
in their sociopathic  “religion.” When
men and women under his command and innocent civilians die, maybe, just maybe,
he will begin to understand what it is he is really dealing with.

            Obama’s
liberal view that virtually all concepts of God are correct has him in trouble
not only with Muslim clerics, but with homosexuals as well. He offended
the  homosexuals who gave him millions of
dollars during his campaign because of his pick of Pastor Rick Warren to give
the invocation at his inauguration. This has homosexuals hot, angry and calling
names. To them freedom of speech is anything they agree with and nothing else.
Others are not allowed to speak.

            Homosexual
groups with the help of CNN and other liberal news outlets have mounted what
can only be called a crusade to have Obama select someone else … maybe Obama
could get his old pastor Jeremiah Wright to give his famous “God D—- America”
message at the Inauguration.

MAJOR POLITICAL NEWS     PAUL WEYRICH DIES

            My good
friend and a conservative icon died on Thursday, December 18, 2009. I have been
a part of the famed invitation only "Weyrich lunch" for more than a
decade, and I came to know and love Paul not only for his views, but for his
personal courage. He was on a first name basis with congressmen, senators and
presidents. He continued to fight for social conservative views and common
sense economic policies even after the loss of both his legs some years ago.

            While
other conservative leaders in Washington
accepted gay organizations and even pro-abortionists into the Republican Party,
he held the line. Besides being one of the great conservative leaders of our
time, he was also a deacon of his church. All conservatives, particularly this
one, mourn his loss.

WE MUST REPLENISH OUR FUNDS

                There
are going to be run-offs and special elections almost immediately. Just about
all of our funds have been exhausted during the hard fought 2008 election
cycle. We must prepare now for the upcoming fight to put more social
conservatives in the House and Senate. Please send a check or give an online
gift at www.gingpac.org.
