The Senator also has a 100% rating with National Right to Life, and he has expressed concern for the persecuted Christian minority in the Middle East. The conservative Senator has no fewer than seven opponents in the GOP primary. / GING-PAC has just announced endorsement of Ben Sasse in his bid to replace retiring Senator Mike Johanns of Nebraska.

He was appointed by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley in 2013 to serve out the term of former Senator Jim DeMint who currently runs The Heritage Foundation. WHAT THE PRESIDENTIAL CHALLENGERS BELIEVE – Over the years I have had the privilege to work on various projects with some of the current Republican candidates for President and I have met and talked to most of them more than once. Just before she announced her run for the presidency I was one of just eight conservative leaders who had lunch with Michele Bachmann at the Capitol Hill club in Washington, DC.
